Virginia Tech and Syracuse new helmets

Just like when Oregon started the matte color trend a couple of years ago, teams are now doing the shiny chrome look like the ducks rose bowl helmets.

From what I understand, those are prototype helmets. They were on display at the HydroFX booth at a recent trade show in Cleveland. The chrome helmets are not official helmets for either school.

I noticed VT started wearing their white jerseys with the shoulder stripes after their 2007 'visit' to Tiger Stadium. Not sure if I ever remember those unis before then.

I think they're pretty cool tbh. I dont want to see LSU doing this weekly but once a year like the pro combat etc is fine with me.

VT initially wore the shoulder stripe unis in 2008 as throwbacks:

i liked their jerseys from earlier in the decade, i hate that stupid yellow stripe. i also like their helmets except that orange garbage they put on and make themselves look like clemson
