Here's a quote to think about. "Violence is the last resort of the incompetent."

If someone disrespects me in bar, I just don't care. Their opinion doesn't mean anything to me.

I'd bet money thats not the first time nor will it be the last time he punches a woman. Don't care what the situation is you don't just up and punch a woman in the middle of a crowded bar.

100% she hits him first after he was trying to hold her hands. Im sorry that isnt a debatable thing

he didnt have a right ot grab her, period, in the first place, ofcourse she could strike him at that point.

There is no defense for his actions, at no time is okay to ever put your hands on someone, let alone a girl, for a bump in a crowd, regardless of how this chick responded...

'hey sorry bout that, its all good, have a nice evening' might have worked a bit better.

There are other ways to deescalate things that don't involve getting physical. Sounds like you've got a personal problem. I've been in situations that could have easily turned into fights at bars several times. Instead of turning to hitting someone or running my mouth I used my brain like an adult and got out of it with out getting physical.

If you actually in a physical fight with someone when you're over the age of 18 you are trashy.

ummm, she put her fist up as she turned around. At this point grabbing her hands is acceptable. Now he should have also deescalated it too which he looks like he swagged out instead

I find it hilarious that people are defending the trashy POS girl after she blatantly disrespected the kid and then punched him in the face.

Any word on the charges for the girl?

You're an idiot. No one is defending the girl. She was wrong as well. It still doesn't give any man the right to hit a woman.

That's cool with me. I'd rather be a whimp.

One day you'll grow up.

It's always funny to me when we have these threads how cowardly some posters are. So many of you say you've never been in a fight and would never be in a fight. I feel bad for your families that some of yall won't stand up for yourselves. You have to draw the line somewhere and say I'm not gonna take this shite, and where you draw that line is up to each individual. But if you've never been in a situation where you have to draw that line, you must not have done very much living, or you're a pussy.

This QB fricked up by hitting the girl. He took it too far and now he's in trouble. So many different ways he could've handle that. What would be the outcry if the facts were all the same except instead of punching her he sweeps the leg and drops her into bar sludge?

I'd never bash someone for never being in a fight in their lives, but it is weird to come across guys who have never been in one.

At the risk of sounding like a caveman.....what are people doing with their lives that they've never been in a fight?!

I stuck around at the park after a little league game one night and was playing wall ball with some random kids. Guess they were jackasses and they started being mean and hitting me with the tennis ball for no reason and then surrounded me when I finally told them to get the frick out. Of course, that ended in me being slapped around a bit.

Out of nowhere my dad walks up and told me how proud of me he was. BITCH, you watched that and didn't help me?! He then gave me the stick up for yourself speech and how I should never be a bully like those kids.

There are times where you have to stick up for yourself. It's that simple. And before everyone calls my dad some redneck dickbag, we were all young enough that nobody was going to TKO anyone. This shite wasn't a worldstarhiphop scene.

There's multiple answers, one of them is "making smart decisions"

Haha ok.

There is a distinct difference in fighting to protect you or your family vs. getting in a bar fight because somebody "disrespected" you.

I'm sorry for you if you don't know the difference. Not being a hot head will keep you out of 99.99% of fights. That .01% is when there is truly danger and the only time it is necessary to actually get physical.

I understand that

I'm not in a constant state of "never let anyone disrespect me" mode. But shite happens in life.

Like when someone punches you in the face at the bar after they were antagonizing you by boxing you out from the bartender.

If you think he was in danger then you have a skewed sense of judgment.

I've never been in a bar fight. I've been absolutely beat to shite in a bar, but never been in a fight in a bar. Angry people in bars aren't worth getting in trouble or injured over.

if you were allowed to hit drunk bitches at bars then women wouldnt drink. She's just being a pushy drunk but that's no reason to punch her.

You don't hit women. POS guys use that as an option. Kid is a clown that is mad the girl beat him for positioning at the bar. Disgusting.
