Did they lose to the 49ers in the NFCCG? I remember going to their first game in 1989 when the Saints beat them 28-0 and then HOF'er Morten Andersen eliminated the Cowboys from the playoffs in 1990 on NYE night. The Cowboys got a little better after that.
