It's crazy how early it gets dark up north this time of year.
I think the latitude plays a factor as I notice that SoCal gets darker earlier than Vancouver/Seattle does in the summer.
With the game being in NYC it is important to note that NYC/New England is further east than much of the southeast. Even the GA coast is a good deal west of NYC if you drew a line straight down, much less places like Athens, Atlanta, or Columbus GA. I think the outer banks of NC are somewhat close in longitude to NYC/New England. So that plays a factor in the sunsetting earlier there as well.

I know why it gets darker, but just can't imagine it getting dark at 4:30 pm. I believe Savannah is close to the same longitude as Pittsburgh, which is crazy considering Savannah is on the coast.

lmao what a stupid penalty Miami.

Miami so frustrated they've had to resort to personal fouls on the punter.

They're getting back to their roots.

There has been a lot of “chippiness” and personal fouls in the recent bowl games.

It sucks. I moved from NYC to GA and was happy to find out how much longer the sun stays up down here.

It's pretty crazy.
To drive from NYC to LA directly, according to google maps, takes roughly 41 hours.
But if you went from NYC to ATL to LA, it would take 45, despite it being 14 hours from NYC to ATL.
I know that LA is a good deal south and pretty parallel to Atlanta across the map, but that route also shows how far west GA is from NY.

That was a TD in the Rutgers game.

After watching the replays the ball is out of bounds. Not a TD.

This game has been awesome in a shite show bowl kind of way

How many times are they going to say “tush push”. It’s already been at least 10 times.

It’s been pretty good. Grass field elements. Not to many opt outs….
