I think ultimately, BeBe remains on staff as recruiting coordinator/DL coach

But seriously, if Auburn wins the Iron Bowl, Malzahn is a lock.

With that said. I would LOVE it if he were on the LSU staff.

Hope they do keep him as head coach. Wont keep this fantasy ride going forever. USC will be looking for a new HC in a couple of years.

Malzahn and Cutcliffe are the easy front runners right now. Like others have said if Gus beats bama it's not even a contest.

Why is everyone on this board so down on Orgeron?

How many proven coaches are out there? Saban, Meyer,... That's it. I know A&M fans will tell you USC wants Sumlin just so they can say Sumlin isn't leaving. But really outside of Saban and Meyer, they're all a crap shoot.

Ed loves USC. USC loves ED. Win your games and what more could you ask for?

If SC wins out, I think O deserves at least a 2 year contract. Let him continue the positive momentum, and restock the shelves with the 4* and 5* recruits already poised to sign if he's "The Guy".

If Pat Haden doesn't make an earth-shattering hire and we replace O (who's been nothing short of outstanding since CLK got fired), we're making a HUGE mistake, IMHO.

This. I get the debacle at Ole Miss, but the guy lives for football. He's got a talented team believing they can win which was missing with Kiff. Ultimately I think he's way down the "new coach" list but hasn't he already said he wants to stay whether or not he's named the head man?

At first he did, but now he's saying he wants another shot at being a head coach. I can't blame the guy one bit. If SC goes with someone else, I don't see Orgeron sticking around.
