From what I recall, it seemed like that was largely because of his uncooperation with the NCAA more than past violations before he became head coach.

You haven't a clue of what you're talking about.

agree that saying Kiff is top 3 coach is premature but what he's doing to weather the sanctions is nothing short of remarkable.

There are plenty of coaches who could do the same.

It's not like he's taken South Carolina to the SEC championship.

He may be worthy one day of being a top 3 coach but you have to be gay for him to put him a category with Saban and Meyer at this point. That's the only logical explanation.

You have to be a biased jackass to state there are eight better coaches in the SEC better than LK, only logical explanation.

Its not my fault you are outraged by homosexual allegations.

Yes, Im usually biased towards coaches who have accomplished more than others.

I mean, it's not like anyone said he was a bad game day coach for Zamaro to post what he did.

You must have missed the incessant comments on this site and other teams' sites (mostly SEC) stating he would have SC down the toilet within three years with his inability to coach.

In other words, you are acknowledging in a round about way that nobody said anything in this thread for Zamaro to post/respond the way he did.

Miles, Spurrier, Saban, Richt, Chizik, Pinkel, and Mullen. Thats 7. They deserve to be in a top 3 spot before Kiffin at this point.

IDK. But his assessment of many others believing his coaching skills leave a lot to be desired is correct.

Pinkel

Good, under rated coach, but not elite like LK

Mullen

He may be the next Bear Bryant but his accomplishments don't warrant that label at this point.

Miles had made multiple national title games. Kiffin hasn't.

He's won multiple conference titles and taken a program with a weak tradition to a SEC title game in the toughest conference in the land.

He's won multiple conference titles in the toughest conference in the land.

Chizik has won a national title at a program that doesn't have the tradition that USC has.

Good, under rated coach, but not elite like LK

He's probably done more with less than LK has

And Mullen may not better, but certainly no worse.

ANd those are the coaches just in the SEC who warrant a top 3 spot more than Kiffin. You can find more in the Big 10 and Big 12.

If we're talking about who's the better coach to lead a program this season and for seasons to come, Saban and Miles are the only two we can talk about with LK. What someone did in their coaching career five to ten years ago is worthless in this conversation.

You think any collegiate AD would choose Mullen, Spurrier, Richt, Pinkel, or Chizik to lead their football program RIGHT NOW over LK? Fuuuuck No.

If you are gay for Kiffin. Not if you are an informed college football fan.

Except for Spurrier, some probably would. Not everyone has the hots for Kiffin like you.

Yeah, Richt is the definition of a mediocre coach. Doesn't belong in this discussion.

Yet somehow LK wouldn't be a top eight coach in the SEC

2-1 in BCS games and multiple SEC title games, please just stop

Yeah, and the UGA faithful wanted him fired the past three years. What does that tell you?
