What do you mean hasn't done so far? I am not just talking about on the field. Barkely is obviously smarter, atleast from his command of the english language. I will give TP credit though...he knows two languages. Is ebonics actually a language though? It wouldn't be fair to rip a young qb from his on the field stats. He will be better with the study time. I hope these two QB's go into the NFL in the same year. I already know....barring injury, which QB will be taken first.

Barkely hasn't done anything yet, except hand off which he will do a lot and look good doing it. TP hasn't done anything really either. He is still being ripped around the country for not knowing how to speak for himself.

lol....I never said anything about that...today or yesterday. Thats you all saying it and bringing it up. My teams have had black qb's and done well.

Did I say they couldn't have been better? No...I don't think Jamarcus or Dennis Dixon were very smart. Do I think TP will get better....yes I do. Do I think there are other less talented QB's who just happen to be smarter and will do better than him....yes, that includes whats his name from Miami. Do I think he will be a good QB in the NFL...dont have enough to know yet but I doubt it considering the facts we do have.

TP's a bad speaker now. I think he just needs a few more years to get more comfortable saying the right words. Troy Smith was a poor speaker early in his career, and ended up being outstanding speaking to the media by the end of his career.

"I'll take an average white QB over a talented black QB any day because they're smarter."

That could be a lot of things depending on what view or angle your coming from......would take too long to discuss them all and I am in the middle of cooking dinner....drunken chicken!!

BTW....I think Pryor would have been a much better player and would accomplish more from a stats point of view if he would have went to Oregon or Michigan, who btw will overtake your team shortly because you guys can't beat that type of team they will become. I foresee a change in offense when Tressel is shown the door. I also don't believe that just cause your not smart that you aren't a good person. If your a criminal and stupid then I really can't stand you. enough said....

I don't think he would be the starter if he hasn't shown his will......but you are right, its not full proof. Everyone has said this kid is super smart when it comes to football.....I hope he is. I am ready for the blood to flow...lol

If you don't realize their are more than two or three ways to explain what accomplishing things on the field then I don't have the time to explain it to you. Heres one for you.....get your degree, don't be a distraction or a problem, be a good teammate, show respect and play hard against your opponents. Hows that.....if you do those things I feel you have accomplished a lot on and off the field and will have a prosperous life.
