I see 3 losses this year, at least as many the next and a struggle to win half your games in year 3. Considering Kiffin's previous record the first two years may be considered overachieving.
The transfers and scholarship sanctions are going to hurt USC badly.

The media guide? If I recall correctly, and I do, you stated that kind of stuff rarely, if ever, gets posted on MSB. You're right. SC bashing hardly ever occurs here.
Fact is, as someone put it correctly, short of Bama, they get the most CF play here. ANd actuall, it might surpass Bama.

You're accusing me of being in denial? Really?
It's a simple concept. 2003 happened, and LSU fans were butthurt about sharing their championship. They would have gotten over that, especially after the 2007 BCS title.
But then came the Bush investigation, and LSU fans, and others, realized that something was rotten at Heritage Hall.
If USC had any kind of compliance department, and had been remorseful when turning itself in, even that would have died away.
But USC looked the other way, stonewalled, acted arrogantly above the law, and got hammered. It would have been surprising if no one here talked about it.
Yeah, a lot of LSU fans, and fans from other schools as well, didn't think USC would get hammered. But only because we had lost faith in the NCAA. And I think the NCAA realized that, too.
Which is why USC got what it got. And why the appeal is going to go nowhere.

He has been fired, the best hire possible has happened, and based on the actual violation (Reggie Bush ineligible due to agent entanglements vice boosters paying a player etc), the punishment doesn't fit the crime.
30 schollies in 3 years is just silly. It really should be reduced, but as you say, it is unlikely.
The NCAA would have to admit that it erred for that to happen. Fat chance.
Still, USC is USC. The recruits we are getting are good ones, and the 2 year bowl ban will go by quickly. If any program is equipped to rebound quickly from sanctions (reduced or otherwise) it is Southern California.
