What the NCAA hit USC so hard on, to my understanding, is it had the idea that USC not only looked the other way, but consciously ignored obvious red flags in certain individuals' behavior. Those $17,000 rims Reggie pimped his Impala with, for example.
Obviously, having a compliance department with one man in it wasn't such a good idea, after all.
IF USC didn't see anything, it was at least in part because they actively didn't want to.

As usual, you missed the boat. But you keep believing that there are rarely, if ever negative posts about USC by LSU fans on MSB or that the posts are something new.--whichever fits your argument. You've been a member for less than one year, so yeah, I guess they're new to you.

While you're at it, explain all the negative talk during their run and before the Bush-gate saga gained steam. Wait, you'll say (again), they're were no posts here, even though you've been signed on for less than a year.

You continually miss the point of the argument. You are on record saying LSU fans are obsessed with USC.
My point is, you're confusing "obsession" with "observation".
LSU fans were upset that USC was voted a share of the 2003 championship. They felt that the Tigers won it fair and square according to the rules that all BCS schools...including USC...agreed to prior to the season.
When the AP declared USC the champs, based on their win against an inferior Michigan team, they cried foul. And understandably so. Beating a Big Ten team in a bowl game, especially the Rose Bowl, was pretty much a given.
But all that would have been forgotten in time, especially after LSU won the BCS title...again...in 2007. Except for one thing: the Reggie Bush investigation.
USC was in the news continually for four years, as people everywhere wondered whether the hammer would fall on the Trojans and when.
You are implying that people here talk about USC for no reason whatsoever. That's wrong.
What's more, you're singling out this website unfairly. USC troubles were discussed on every team's website during that time. Check out Oklahoma/Big XII fans sites, and Alabama fan sites for evidence.
You can't get it through your head that USC is their own worst enemy in all of this, in every way.
You're just not a credible poster anymore, because you have such a warped version of reality.

You seem to forget USC was #1 in the polls prior to bowls. AP has never voted #1 down after winning a bowl game against a top 5 opponeent. LSU did win the coaches poll (BCS) NC fair and square. No one has tried to diminish that. I also bet you did not kow that the BCS themselves stated that 2003 was a "split decision...with LSU winning the coaches NC and USC the AP...".

By the way, have you made up your mind yet? ARe there many posts on MSB bashing SC? I thought you said there were not. Then, since you posted that and the new threads continued, you changed your tune again.

Not including PAC-10 schools, the posts here far outnumber posts on other school's sites.
And in closing, you stil have not addressed the FACT that you have been on this site for less than a year, but comment on threads and why they were posted here long before that.

Folks will laugh. It's all part of the fun of college football. We laugh at you too, believe it or not.
As far as the bad news at SC, I think we've had the worst of it, and it's only going to get better from here. We'll take our lumps and come out fighting.

Sill haven't made your mind I see. By the way, short of PAC-10 schools and Notre Dame, this site has, by far, the most posts about USC. I guess the USC news must only be sent into SOUth Bend, Indiana and the respective cities of PAC-10 schools.
