Any college with a brain would fire the AD not just football and basketball but tennis too.Who cheats in tennis?

They didn't cheat at tennis as much as their compliance department was worthless and didn't notice thousands of dollars in overseas phone calls over several years.

I remember when Herb Tyler and several other LSU players did the same thing circa 1995 and I'm pretty sure they got caught soon after they did it, not three years later during the investigation of another case.

I don't think USC administration fully understands what could happen to them if they let these two continue act this way. I'm not talking about the comments as much as I am their attitude. Their attitude suggests that they won't change anything that they are doing and that they will get caught again and if that happens. Look out.

I dont know shite about what probation means. Will Kiffy's truck load of minor infractions cost them while under probation? Let's face it, the guy can't aviod them and what's worse he advertises them.

IIRC, yes, they'll be in an inordinate amount of trouble over Kiffin's secondary violations while they're under probation.

They'll be expected to step up their compliance heavily to ensure that they're not breaking the rules. If Kiffin blatantly ignores the rules like he did at Tennessee, then that will be ammo for extending probation, recruiting limitations, and/or further scholarship losses out of whack with what a normal punishment would be.

Putting Kiffin in charge of the USC program while they're on probation is like handing out gasoline and matches to pyromaniacs.

yes. They can add to the penalties for new violations. But if they do something particularly bad and violate some of the rules the NCAA has laid out, it could get ugly, REAL ugly. (TV ban or even worse the Death penalty).

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The NCAA takes themselves very seriously and if people blatantly thumb their nose at them, they will hammer them. They don't care who you are.

They did an Outside the Lines piece on his a month or so back. And the jest of it was how much of a prick/a-hole/dumbass he was and that he was on borrowed time. Hopefully this will be the last straw with this arse hat.

Hunter, it's amazing how the USC faithful will continue to embrace Kiffy. Just like UT did last year. Honestly, wasn't his excuse at UT that he needed to make a splash etc? WTF is he trying to do now? USC face it, with him and O at the helm you wont make it through the 4 year probation.

If I were a USC fan I'd want a new AD right away, someone that would fire Kiffer and bring in a responsible adult to coach us out of our sanctions.

I personally believe these penalties + Lane Kiffin will wreck USC football for the next 7-10 years. These sanctions fall just short of death penalty status.

Exactly. That is why Bama has been so quick to go to them with any little thing to get it resolved, such as the textbook case, the Jones/Ingram fishing expedition, Robby Green. Bama was arrogant in the Langham case and we paid for it and learned not to do it again. Having said that, USC has taken things to a whole new level of arrogance.
