And waking up in closets when the hospitals are full, and waiting 366 days for a hernia operation and waiting 8 weeks for chemo... yes I appreciated all that system for my family, hence I am

Are you my brother-in-law? Cause you know your wife just paid 12k to have my nephew in the hospital and you guys have great plans...

Any scientific survey done to my knowledge on people who have used both systems (not pretended to know based off political rhetoric have come to the same answer). It is fricking night and day and I am thankful every moment I am now here and not there. I will pay the extra sheckle so my kids dont have to fricking wait like animals while politicians come south to get care. No thanks, healthcare is wayy to important to accept substandard (nevermind promote it
)

I got two children who have never waited more than 15 mins to see a doctor, and sheckles aside my entire family is down there and they can afford the freight, they cant believe what we don't pay for. Which independent death squad surveys are you citing? Maybe we should take this to the poli board..

I am truly glad to here that. My mother has been waiting 11 months for her carpel tunnel surgery and my dad had to wait 8 weeks for chemo when giving a warning if it did not work he would only last 4 months. The closet (St Paul hospital Vancouver was me) and the 366 days for a hernia operation (Lions Gate Hospital Vancouver was me). Brother was just in emergencey ward in richmond last month and left 12 hours later after seeing nada.
No need for poli board (you can have last word). Those who have lived in both tend to make a clear choice. Your 'death squad' comment tells me any non-stereotypical debate is beyond capabilities. Enjoy the game.

The first part of your post is fine, empirical data and your family's experiences are what they are, i am not calling B.S. or anything but the last part is pure douche.

The guy that says this pompous arrogant statement:
calls someone else a douche?!?
Gosh I miss you guys

Oh are you still here? I thought your final thoughts on the matter had been rendered, guess what...still a douche. Maybe the worst type the patronizing type that would prefer to shut off the debate, rather than move it forward. Lazy douche.

Free Healthcare my arse, canada doesn't have free healthcare
Posted on 2/21/10 at 4:49 pm to Beaux
See that's correct. We don't. In terms of direct cost to taxpayers though it is essentially deferred and you are never presented with a bill, also with our emphasis on preventative health care our system is more cost certain and our prescription medication substantially cheaper. See Ignoramous moving the debate forward....

get this healthcare bullshite off of a perfectly good make-fun-of-Canada thread

Why did that high ranking Canadian official come to the US to have that big surgery?
