I like big time soccer and follow it when i can. I know who is good and who isnt.

Question: I, along with many others, think this USA team is average at best, however what does it say that we are in this tournament? Does it mean we are good?

We are definitely the best in our confederation. We just have poor upper-management that causes us to choke on the big stage. Our manager is terrible, but the talent to shock the world powers is definitely there.

it means that we won our regions tournament (or are hosting/won the world cup). we got in through the gold cup in 2007.

doesn't necessarily mean that we are "good," but we probably have the best team in our region

Or something like that. Donovan is MUCH better out wide than up top. I hope that Bob has that figured out by now.

Naa it's basically a 4-5-1 or 4-3-2-1...i think it's mostly altidore up top and bradley and clark are definitely gonna be hanging back.

we got abused by CR bc we were so thin at the mid
