I mean when you're down a man against one of the best teams int he world, eventually they're gonna score against you. I'm getting tired of refs determining the outcomes of our matches with italy

Can we score off something other than a PK? Italy is tearing us apart this half, this could get ugly.

That right there is why soccer is such a ridiculous sport sometimes. Having to play a man down for a whole 55 minutes because of one questionable call is just fricking retarded. There is no way we don't get AT LEAST a draw if we are playing 11v11.

The Maxi Rodriguez for Argentina from the last World Cup was a pretty filthy long range shot/goal.

Rossi struck it well, but I can name 1000 people that can hit a ball like that. Let's not jump on his nuts just yet.

referees need to be held more accountable for their actions

that was not a red in the first half. yellow, frick yes, thats not a red though, he already started his tackle, he got beat, and he followed through, theres nothing he could have done to stop it

difference in blatantly mexico-ing someone and what clark did

and it determined this outcome. we outplayed italy in the first half easily

I could have at least lived with the red if they would have done the same on the foul on Alti in the box.

The dude was in on goal and fouled him. That tends to be a red even if it isn't a "hard" foul.

sooo....i'm being completely racist here...but any Hispanic ref and US team = worse than an SEC football ref from Birmingham for an LSUvAU or LSU vs UA game.

The '06 Italy game had Jorge Larrionda from Uruguay.
