There is zero fricking chance Ryan Day has been doing all of this on his own.

Urban Meyer‘s role in prepping OSU has to be one of the worst kept secrets in Columbus.

You know he’s helping out with the game-plan against Clemson, especially after the 2016 CFP.

His Fox Sports role gives him the perfect excuse for being around the program.

I can’t blame Ryan Day or OSU, why not utilize the man who rebuilt the program In a behind the scenes role, without the day-to-day responsibilities?

Until he takes another job, Urban Meyer will continue to take part in OSU’s game-planning.

A better excuse than the fact that he’s an assistant AD at Ohio State and has an office right next door to Day?

Will he accept any blame if they lose.

No.He'll distance himself real quick if they lose.

Are you saying he's going to take credit if they win? This is a strange post.

He goes to practice a couple times a week, he claims he doesn't help out at all he just watched. Just like AD Gene Smith is as practice all the time. I take it you fools didn't even know that Urban is an assistant AD did ya?

Ryan Day has not been doing it on his own. Correct. He’s hired incredible coordinators.

I guarantee Day relied on Urban as far as planning out the travel and practice/ activities schedule. But I hope he didn't pick his brain on game planning

Some LSU fans can be total embarrassments to the entire fan base.

When you say "office right next door", you mean in another building (Fawcett Center), right?

Not the next office to Day in the Woody, correct?

Yeah, he still works for Ohio State.

Weird post.

True.

But Meyer doesn't work in the same building as Day. Their offices are not adjoining.

And Meyer works out of the L.A. Fox studio for his TV gig.

I have heard only that Day wants to run his own show as HC

If Day is half the leader I think he is, he's going to use Urban's knowledge and experience as much as possible.

Why does that matter? Urban forgot how to walk across campus?

If Urban wants to hang out at OSU practices and Day is fine with it, who cares? This thread is silly.

That's vague enough for me. Impossible to argue with that, LOL

You don't see a difference between having your ex-boss in the office next to you, and having him in a completely different building?

K... LOL

After the dismantling Clemson gave Ohio St under Urbs I am sure they are just fine with him helping the Buckeyes.

Umm...no?

*If* Day wanted Urban’s input, I’m pretty sure they could figure out how to easily facilitate that knowledge transfer if all it would take is a 10 minute walk across campus. My boss is two states away and he does just fine giving me input when I need it.

Are you imagining that in order for Urban to have any input, he would have to be in earshot of Day? If so, you really need to think that through a little better.
