How about banning kids from 3rd base line if the parents refuse to not put them in harms way? Make those seats 18+ of age.

Or just extend the net..

Adults can't be hit by a baseball?

Well my logic agrees with the current construction of the stadiums as they are and the reaction time needed for behind the dugout or where the current netting is versus where it currently isn’t

So it’ll stop being in agreement when that happens?

Are you for removing netting behind homeplate? Using your logic, it is forching others to watch behind a net.

I guess I can repeat myself in summary. I agree with the current setup and think the due diligence and studies were conducted for reaction / safety concerns in factoring how big the current net is.

So you don't believe that extending a very simple net that will obviously keep people safer is worth it just because.

Agree to disagree.

I believe in making speed limits on highways 25 mph and saving 8,000 children per year if we net up the ballpark to save 1. Why are you against saving thousands?

Why are you shitting up this thread just because you said something stupid and now are too stubborn to admit it or just go away?

There you go again, comparing making speed limits 25mph to extending netting.

Apples and oranges, man. How did you possibly type that out without realizing that? That's amazing to me.

He’s counting flesh wounds

Abrasions, subcutaneous bleeding (bruising)

Obviously an attorney that has never seen a court room

He should represent teams vs parents that neglect their kids, but he’s not good enough and there’s no money in that. LOL

i didn't know how many people on this board have season tickets down the first and third base lines. let's take it down from behind the plate, it obstructs their views back there!

In a game where the action is just as close if not closer (hockey), you barely notice the netting at a game.

This needs to happen.

I actually attend a few games a year in different parks. I would hate to see nets every where. shite is already expensive. Last thing I want is to have my view obstructed

Only a real deal POS would have a problem with extending the netting to protect people. All of the reasons not to, and comparisons from that crowd are stupid.

I just think using common since and choosing the 90% of the seats that are completely safe is the proper decision versus forcing others to watch behind a net.

That would be too easy, I mean players just started hitting hard foul balls the last couple years.
