Well then I can't imagine what that makes a person who is outraged by the outrage.

Seems like just yesterday when he was ousted from Iowa St for partying with coeds. But that was damn near 18 years ago.

He's a good coach. He's not a hall of fame caliber coach. He has or had a drinking problem, a hooking up with coeds problem, and an anger management problem.

Using some salty language to get a player's attention is ok. Throwing things at them? Not so much.

Programs will put up with that crap from great coaches. But he's just a good coach, so he's expendable.

Colorado State has placed interim men’s basketball coach Steve Barnes on paid administrative leave just a week after he was put in charge of the program.

Barnes, CSU’s associate head coach, was dubbed the interim Feb. 3 when athletic director Joe Parker asked Larry Eustachy to go on administrative leave. Parker, along with deputy athletic director Steve Cottingham and compliance director Shalini Shanker, are running an ongoing investigation into Eustachy’s behavior and his interactions with players and staff. Eustachy is expected to be fired next week pending the completion of the investigation.

In a statement released Saturday, Parker didn’t give a reason why Barnes was placed on leave, but team sources say players spoke up about their concerns playing for Barnes in a meeting with the athletic director Friday.
