The Pens played 5 in 7 days and all but 1 on the road, closest to that we've played I think. Maybe 6 in 11.

Bruins @ Pens on NBCSN, puck dropping now.

Paul Martin returns to the Pens lineup.

Would be a great game if we could actually score while outshooting them badly.

GENO HAD ENOUGH OF THAT shite

What.a.blast.

And Crosby rips it by Rask and drills the post

Robbed, was clearly a high stick. That is just awful.

Will take the point, but complete bs.

Man, I'm not so sure about that call. I thought it was a good goal because it was off Despres' glove, but... wow. Close call.

But the Caps are undefeated in 2015. Within 4 of the Isles, 5 of the Pens with a game in hand against each. The Metro might be a race after all.

If you're going to determine that was off Bergeron, no goal.

I thought Despres hit it and that's one thing, but to say it did hit Bergerons stick and was below crossbar, my arse.

Got damn Goonins paying off the League to get relevant again.

Congrats to Patrice Bergeron, who just defied all rules of physics.

Yeah, I thought they were gonna go off the glove or just call it inconclusive. But below the bar? I'm not so sure about that. I'd like to see a pic of that because it looked high to me.

Only one I've seen going around Twitter so far, look at how high the stick is and where the puck hit, just no way. Unless they moved the crossbars to about 6 feet high.

Honestly because of the depth of that photo, for me it is hard to decide. Would need to see a side angle.

Yeah, no great pictures I can find yet, if there are any.

But with how verticle his stick is and how high the puck hits the stick, I don't know how that could possibly be below a 48 inch crossbar.

Kind of enjoying watching the Wings late night on this west coast roadie. Hank Zetterberg puts them up 2-1 late in the second, even with only 14 shots on goal.

Lmao now the league is calling it inconclusive so good goal on ice stands.

Just keep changing the ruling, NHL, always makes it better.

Really? The Penguins fan is going to cry about officiating?

Tell 87 to stop diving every other shift and you might get my sympathy.

Any blogs or sites you can recommend for me to keep up with the team? I really have no way to watch them and they aren't on TV much nationally
Predators subreddit is my main source along with reddit Hockey for around the league news and highlights. OnTheForecheck is the Preds SBNation site and they write solid insight on a game by game basis. Thomas A Willis is the best guy on the Preds beat. Follow him on Twitter.

And just any insight on their overall style and players? Trying to learn as much as I can about them.
Go to the Preds website and find the snapshot videos on the players. You'll get a glimpse at their personalities.

As far as specifics go, I could write an entire blog on why certain guys are playing on the same line and what Laviolette is trying to accomplish when he makes certain roster moves.

Wtf does fandom have to do with a terrible call? And then the NHL changing the ruling afterwards when everyone says how terrible it is? Call it inconclusive and call on ice stands, simple. But to say after review it did hit his stick and was below crossbar is just lol, they screwed that up on multiple levels.

And really? The 2007 Crosby diving excuse? Get some new material this decade.

I'll get new material as soon as Crosby stops being a pussy, so don't hold your breath.
