I'm going to try and follow more NHL this season. I said the same thing last season though. I did follow it slightly more than i normally do, but still hardly at all.

i dont have one. No team in LA (obviously) and i could never root for a team in the state of texas.

Cheer for Nashville or St. Louis IMO.

St. Louis makes sense. It's why i root for the Cardinals. I was born and raised in Memphis so proximity wise they were the closest (Nashville didnt have a team yet).
But they call themselves the blues. Thats BS. Memphis is the home of the Blues. I will not cheer for St. Louis.

You could go with Carolina (not so good lately) or Tampa Bay (should be a playoff team).
Outside of that you'd have to go to another region of the country. Not sure if you care about proximity.

It is very surprising there is an obvious favorite in each division. Never see that in NHL.
