Football teams have a nice meal after a win? Outrageous!

I thought college players did haven't any food to eat?

They are incredibly well fed, and get a stipend, so I'm sure they eat well every meal they want to.

My friend was a D3 football player and they had their own cafeteria also. I was very surprised by that.

WTF, we ate at the regular cafeteria like all the other students. We did get $20/meal when we travelled and a "5th Quarter" after every home game with snacks and all you can drink beer, so I can't complain.

Only the best for our Tar Heel warriors.

Still trying to figure out the issue here other than Sam only eating chicken fingers,

I remember some cafe lunches at Ohio University and there would be a few meals a season where the football players would get steak and potatoes and other lavish dinners, but the rest of us couldn’t eat that because we didn’t have a football scholarship. We had to eat the peasant food. All I could think was we’re an effing MAC school, why are football players so special.

Alabama used to have special dining for the football players. Regular students could eat off the same menu, but they had to swipe the dining card AND pay an extra $12.

Now Bama has built a $15 million facility for athletes only.

The building includes two floors with outdoor patios on both the upper and lower levels overlooking Alabama’s football practice fields. It features more than 50 flat screen TVs, 10 cook-to-order stations, plus a fuel center for snacks and shakes.

And to think, I ate 6000 packs of ramen during college.

Yeah I can’t imagine what it’s like at a football school. They run those campuses.

At UVa they go to an old fashioned steakhouse called the Aberdeen Barn.

There’s a reason lobster is overpopulated in the ocean

Shabazz Napier, a basketball player from UCONN said he used to go to bed hungry in college

I have a hard time believing that a basketball player at UCONN, which is their biggest income sport, was going to bed hungry.

At LSU, they used to have a private dining room in the dining hall if they chose to utilize it, but now they have that private area at the renovated football complex.
