What an idiot. Wow.

But coach should of called a TO when seconds were ticking away and he knew that it might be the last play. Should of called a TO with 7 secs left

Yes and no. Staley could’ve easily called timeout after the previous play.

Was no need to. The likelihood of them picking up a 1st there was almost 0. You had 30 seconds left. Just run a play and kick on 4th down.

Not the coaches fault. He was thinking surely they’re snapping this..
Also why throw 40 yards down field? Quick route into field goal range then timeout

But coaches fault for not calling a TO with like 7 secs left because if you snap it at 7 you have to know its the last play of game. Yes Caleb took too long but when it got down to nut cutting time he should of just called a TO and kicked the FG.

Correct but he learned he can't trust his QB. Unfortunately it's a day too late. He gone.

No, the head coach should have had that game situation under control.

It is on him and the HC. The coach is a idiot no doubt but at the same time your starting QB is the leader on the field and has been playing football most of his life even though he is young. He is supposed to know better but I can't say I am surprised. Williams has always been a dumb arse.

Head coach can call a timeout from the sideline. They had 1 left. No matter how little of a clue your QB has in that situation, the head coach could have kept that from running out.

The problem was dropping back in the first place from the 25 - run it, kick, go to OT.

Definetely the coaches fault to a degree. When the clock is at 7 secs and the ball is not snapped you fukin call a TO. You dont let the clock go all the way down and all you get is one last play off from the 40 yd line. This aint fukin rocket science bro.

Head coach has to step in and call the timeout if the qb is not doing his job
Posted on 11/28/24 at 5:45 pm to nicholastiger
Absolutely. If I am HC I'm nott leaving that in the hands of a rookie
