It was always going to be in June. Trump said it the first time he ever announced it.
You can't have a fricking UFC fight on the WH lawn on July 4 in DC, especially for the 250 celebration. Nobody with any sense at all thought that would happen.

He originally said it would be a part of the “America 250” celebration. It was announced in September that it would most likely be in June
