Was that an early stoppage?

a little bit but it really wouldn't have mattered, Frankie was starting to maul him on the ground. Mendes would've taken undue punishment he was in a bad spot, maybe in a title fight or for something bigger up for grabs. You don't want to add to the brain damage for just a few more seconds to be sure the guy is fricked up.

-125. That's surprisingly good odds for Edgar. If I didn't know, I would have guessed -200 at least.

That's what I was thinking also. Like you said earlier when I asked about the fight it seemed like the only way Mendes could win was to knock Frankie out. It should of been a lot closer to -200

What do y'all think about Romero +125? And some big/smart money must of came in on Aldo cause Connor is now the underdog after being the favorite since the odds came out.

Romero is a beast, but I wouldn't bet against Jacare especially with those odds. Maybe parlay it with a few other fights and bet a small amount. I think Aldo is better than Connor. I think we will know early in the fight if Connor can hang. I think he is going to have to use his range to beat Jose.

frick no. No gas tank, suspect chin, and Jacare is an animal with an all-around game that its elite as hell, not to mention being a five time BJJ World Champ. If it goes to the ground, Jacare isn't going to get pounded out.

Romero's an impressive specimen but his conditioning and skill set aren't quite as good as Jacare's.

it's been trending towards Aldo for awhile, a lot of people like to wait until weigh-in and see what the fighters look like, or if there's weight cut issues. McGregor looked rough, as did Aldo. Aldo looked a little better though and that's usually enough to make people flip their bets. Also people are hedging a bit too.

Edgar just cemented his legend status. I'll say it Frankie is Top 5 P4P all time in UFC history and Top 10 P4P in MMA history.

Also Ferguson vs Barboza is Fight of the Year

Frankie's one of those nightmare Jersey meatheads that you never want to get on the wrong side of at the club.

Little fast mf'r that's strong as an ox.

He's gotta show more of his personality and he'll be a big draw for the joe blow casual fight fan.

Tarnished by the illegal kick though. Could have been even better.

Three man booth Saturday night. Goldie, Rogan and Domanick Cruz. I think this is awesome, I love Cruz' analysis. Frank Mir is an excellent analyst also.

Hopefully they're testing for Goldberg's replacement and not Rogan.

I read some rumors on r/mma that Rogan was not sure on how much longer he would be doing it. I like Goldie and Joe, so I would hate for either to leave the A team.

Speaking of Bellator. Hot UFC prospect Aljamain Sterling after complaining about his pay and insulting contract offer, was basically told good luck shopping yourself around by the UFC. According to his Instagram

hard to imagine rogan not calling ufc events. the other guys that fill arent that good.

something that seems weird about rogan is that he never seems to talk about goldberg on his podcast.

He ain't going nowhere

He is posturing for a pay raise. His whole career is centered on the UFC gig. His fan base are UFC fans and without that gig he would have been long forgotten after Fear Factor

Ps, RDA pushed me out of the UFC :-(
Lost a 3 round decision to him and they cut me

No his podcast is what drives his career. Those are the people that see his standup and buy his merchandise.
