It’s a total garbage card. Of the 12 fights announced 3 fighters total have a 2 fight or more win streak and one of them is Michael Johnson. Not saying it won’t be good fights but I don’t see a fight on this card that would put someone in a position to challenge for a title with a win. No title fight. Mostly just used up names.
Honestly on paper this is the worst ppv I can ever remember.

Yeah they can go frick themselves, you can’t give a shite card and charge up the a-hole for cheap seats. Firstly they are in a small market looking to sell out an arena. Did their people even do research to set a price relative to the market? There’s no way in frick it won’t be mostly empty with those prices set at where they are.
Also UFC is spread thin it’s impossible to get a good cardio to bottom. Even in a mega card like a Jon Jones fight, they make sure to put a chick fight as a co-main event. The days of old school UFC super cards are over. Not that I was expecting that anyway but frick, they are charging $700 to watch the jobbers fight.

they arent spread thin in most divisions. they just do a shite job of pushing top 10 fighters to fight, especially each other.
champs should fight minimum 2 times a year. contenders 3 times a year. If they did that they could cut the perpetual losers off the roster and get back to having stacked cards, with the same amount of cards that they have now. they also let fighters that lose linger in the rankings too long.
a great example is usman. he is ranked top 5 but hasnt won a fight since 2021. colby is somehow ranked 9th. leon edwards has been dominated in his last two fights and is 4th. gilbert burns 4 straight losses and 10th. max is still for some reason ranked #1 at LW but hasnt won a LW fight since 2023. whats hilarious is topuria is ranked 3rd at LW yet he just knocked out max and hasnt lost ever at LW.

317's Costa/Kopylov fight has officially been canceled. A lot of smoking surrounding a move to 318. That would at least add some name value to the card.

I’ll watch a wmma fight when it’s on the card while waiting for the main. But outside the top fighters(Valentina, Weili), I get confused with these women fighters. There’s Amanda Ribas and Amanda Lemos. Theme there’s the M fighters…Maycee, Macy, Miranda, Mackenzi. I’m sure there’s one or two I forgot.

Between this and pulling out of the Khamzat fight, Costa seems unreliable.
Also, surprised that a women's fight is being moved to Abu Dhabi. Women's fights have been few and far between over there.

this card sucks and the UFC is resting on their laurels when it comes to the U.S.

I don't know. Trilogy with Gaethje would have been fitting. Or suppose Poirier bided his time a bit, maybe if Topuria beats Charles he would have been willing to give Poirier a title shot before Paddy or whoever else. End fighting for the title, win or lose.
