I was thinking the same thing..Dana and Co are wrenching down on the theft..Boxing only has a few great bouts per year..UFC theft is the hot PPV thing of the day..and with so many per year..nobody wants to buy them any longer.
I used to attend a few UFC parties, but like Poker craze, is a bit played out..nobody but hardcore fight fans really care any longer.

IMO, Anderson did exactly what he should have done. Thalas wouldn't exchange with him, there wasn't much else he could do without taking stupid risks. Everytime Anderson came near him homeboy dropped to the female missionary position. Blame the BJJ guy for not going for broke when he couldn't attempt legit takedowns anymore. For What it is worth.......how in the frick did one of the judges score that fight 48 to 47??? I can see the first round being close enough to go either way, the second going to Thalas, for me the third and fourth were 10 - 8s for Anderson with the 5th being a possible 10 - 8 for him, but probably not.

Take tonights "fight" and couple it with the one he had with Cote, and Anderson was looked like complete shite the last 2 times out.

That guy won't be able to walk tomorrow. Anderson did not want to spend that fight on the ground fighting off subs from one of the top BJJ guys in the world so he was cautious. I have no problem with how he fought in this one. At least Kote had some balls standing up.

and when Anderson beats GSP at 185?
That is his style. Silva is a counter puncher and this guy only wanted to fight Silva on the ground. I am not surprised it went this way at all.

I don't see how anyone can complain about Silva in that fight. How can he fight someone who doesn't want to fight? It's one thing if he tried to take him down for the ground game. He just laid down without contact. I don't fault Silva at all for this one. I hope and pray that GSP is dumb enough to get in the ring with Silva. He'll get assraped.

BTW, I thought it was hillarious that Silva got so pissed he tried to end the guy's career with those knee kicks. The soccer kick was the funniest shite I've seen in a long time too.
