yeah, really. that happened in the cote fight.
in contrast, you'll notice the sense of urgency he showed at the beginning of the 2nd round of the Henderson fight where he felt threatened.

Anyone want to tell me wtf is wrong with Chuck Lidell? He is getting knocked out right and left. When was the last time he actually won a fight? From that GIF, looks like he got him in the back of head a few times. Thought that was illegal? I realize it didn't matter at that point, becaue he was toast.

the older you get as a striker your reflexes tend to diminish. once you get rocked like he did against rampage and if he had a concussion sometimes its often easier to get rocked/knocked out/receive a concussion. the last skill a fighter obviously loses is his power. but reaction (reflexes), flexibility are typically the first to go.
i actually wanted shogun to win but was concerned. his next fight he will be even more in shape and improved so i can't wait.
the best point of the pay per view was watching Sexyama in the audience.

Yea I got that quote from Yahoo
I saw that too. Suppossedly Dana got up and chewed out Silva's translator as well. I saw none of that.

I thought there was a 5 pound under limit, or range to be considered a fair fight.
Not sure. thought I heard something like that for that Cyborg fight last week, I thought it might have been a women's thing. Would this 5 pound limit not apply to the heavyweight class? ex Lesnar/Couture?

I'm pretty sure there is "no under" limit as long as the fighter is in the weight class of 171-185 lbs.

Chuck will never fight again per Dana and supposedly if Wanderlai loses to Franklin than Dana will make him retire also.

i can see Wandy fighting at 185 regardless. maybe if Franklin KO Wandy first round, then I might believe that.

he's been knocked out cold 3 times in the past 2 1/2 years, thats only going to get worse.

who is Dana to say these guys will never fight again? Lidell and Silva could fight outside of the UFC and make good money.

He's 39

He beat Wandy and was ahead when Evans caught him

by two light heavies and a heavy. he might do better at 185. he should at least get a shot if he hangs with Rich.

Chuck said he will never fight for another organization.

Lidell and Wandy are both looking like Steve Young at the end of his career. It was not taking big shots to knock him out. Lidell has been knocked out 3 times. 2 of which were not great shots. Silva's KO by Jackson should have been a KO but looking at it afterward he should not have been out for the couple of minutes that he was.
These are top name guys and poster boys for the sport now. If they have some serious brain injury during a fight or end up speaking like Ali or Holyfield in a couple years it will be a PR nightmare for UFC.
And overall it is just scary. When knockouts and concussions are happening with lighter and lighter shots it is time to hang it up. Fighters have never been good about walking away when it is time. They have to be injured or embarrassed or both.

and Troy Aikman
Dan Henderson weighed probably 193 when he KOed Wandy also so i dont see MW being any different for his chin.

I'd bet Dan was weighing close to 203 but I digress...Dan's right hand is not a normal MW's right hand.
Tell me you dont' want to see a bad blood match of Wandy/Spider? I know you do...Max. Don't lie!

i fear it'd be like Leben vs Anderson
