Not currently signed with Zuffa, but Dan Lauzon fought in the UFC at age 19.

They wanted to put him on one of the TUF seasons, but because of the alcohol in the house you have to be 21.

Did you watch him in that WEC fight the other night?

How long was that first round, about 13 minutes

Really good article statistically showing how good Lyoto Machida really is.

Also statistically shows-
-Fedor has absorbed very little damage
-GSP has the best take down defense in mma.

Suprised how much better (15%) he was then Penn (36%).

You gotta wonder how many of those takedowns BJ intentionally gave up though because he wanted to be on the ground.

Machida's record on that scale is 44-1. In all of his UFC fights (and assuming a win in the first round against Sokoudjou), Machida has not lost a single round on a single judge's scorecard. He has only won by scores of 30-27.

That's impressive.

I was barely keeping up with them at that point but I doubted the 300 was any where close to accurate. I doubt anyone ran for 200 during that time.

Good point. I guess the same goes for Mir? 80% is pretty high.

it said 5 takedowns were attempted on him in his career. 4 out of 5 and yeah i'm sure he doesn't care if he is on bottom

Damn, only 5 takedowns in his whole career? I must've misread that part.

Actually, Dan was 18 when he fought Fisher at 64.

I'm rooting for Penn in this FWIW. I like GSP, but I will root for an American over him almost anytime.

FWIW, Im sure BJ is as proud to be American, as GSP is proud to be American......

You dont ever see BJ carrying an American flag, you see him with a Hawaiian flag.

Not sure why, just pointing it out. Even at their first fight, when it was USA vs Canada, I dont remember seeing BJ having ANYTHING American.
