This was a shocker. I did not get the PPV and just watched it Sunday morning. Man Chuck got tatooed. I was actually worried about his health he laid there so long.
I think he's done. He should fight out his current contract against some up and comers but this is it for him as a big time title contender. Evans just rope a doped him for a round and a half then BOOM upside the head. It was vicious.

Wanted to report back from Atlanta for my first UFC PPV. The show was real fun and luckily wasn't packed so we got to move down a section and sit about 30 rows from the cage. The crowd booed Rashad before the fight (even a little after) and was dead silent after Chuck got dropped. It worked out for me because I had a 2-1 bet on Rashad with a friend of mine. Tickets were pretty expensive but the experience was worth it.

How boring would a Evans/Machida fight be? they would just stay in opposite corners?

that's what i found funny about Palmbeaches' assesment of rashad in this fight. Pretty sure he was pro machida and their styles are pretty similar. Granted machida has much more to offer but both employ the stick and move with the emphasis on the move.

I am not anti Rashad's style, I don't like him though and he is boring to watch. He would give most fighters a tough match up, that said I still think Chuck would beat him more often then not. FWIW Machida evades a lot more then he backs away.
