French chick's only hope is walling and stalling.

I feel even more strongly that Shevchenko is winning 3-1 after hearing DC say that it is for sure 2-2.

I have no clue. Solid fight, though

tried scoring it without bias which is why had it at 2-2.... but yea, most likely it's 3-1.
Fioret isn't doing any damage whatsoever with her control time. just walling and stalling and hoping for the best.

This could very well wind up a draw.
ETA: Unless the judges skew round 5 due to Valentina causing more damage and the most decisive blow during the fight.

Yeah, this could go either way, IMO.

Kinda reminded me of skill vs heart there. Valentina just played defense and fiorot just showed some toughness but wasn’t as skilled as a stiker tonight.

Not super surprised. I know the judges are supposed to judge each round individually, I just don't think they do. In a close fight like this, Shevchenko busting her nose early, and then knocking her down was more than anything that Fiorot did. Fiorot didn't really do any damage at all.

quote:This is a good summary. If close fights go to the champion, then yeah. Valentina had the bigger moments.

My queen remains supreme!!
Damage is the priority 1 scoring criteria. The rounds Valentina won, she clearly did the most damage. Her opponent didn't really do much.

Who do y'all have for the Main Event?

Idk. This is a hard fight to predict. I keep counting what's his name out and he keeps surprising me. But JDM can fight too. Let's see how good JDM's ground game for real. I think Burns was grappling him well in their fight until he got hurt.

I feel like Belal is about to roll. JDM is overrated. He barely beat journeyman Kevin Holland by split then KO'd Gilbert the gatekeeper. Big whoop

170 is down lately. We need some of these 155ers to go up and make it more interesting
