Poirier is done at this point lol
What are you expecting

I’d rather see him fight someone he hasn’t beat twice already.

Any fight “risks his legacy”

I was mostly referring to the stat sheet that popped up on the stream. It was impressive.
Volk's jab work was great again tonight. He landed some good shots and kept Lopes on the outside. Made Lopes hesitant to move forward because Volk was a tad bit faster with throwing the jab and stepping out of his range. Volk stuck to the gameplan and executed it very well. The scorecards could have gone 5-0, but I understand the immediate damage done by Lopes outweighed the cumulative damage done by Volk in the 4th round.

Volk has already demolished Yair. Plus he just lost to Ortega before that Pitbull fight. That's dumb if hes really getting the next shot.
Volk deserves another shot at Ilia. I know thats not the move though since hes moving up
Id put Lerone Murphy and Evloev in a title eliminator

Teflon Don did go back and speak with Cheryl Hines shortly after the cameras went off ... it does confirm that he is in fact human and didn't see each and every person in that moment, but he always makes it right.
the media won't report this.

Looking at upcoming featherweight fights and none of the top 15 are scheduled to fight anytime soon, so we're kinda in a dead period for featherweight after tonight

Indian dude was about to catch a 50-44 from merab

Evloev vs Volk without a doubt will be next (if healthy)
Agreed. Volk already said he wants Evloev who already beat Lopes, Allen, Sterling. Murphy beat an old Emmett. But I would watch Volk vs Jean Silva.

Wiki is showing Volk vs Yair in Guadalajara for 320. That cant be confirmed already right?

That’s why I think Ilia leaving was such a bad idea for the FW division. We could have Ilia Volk rematch, Ilia vs Jean Silva, Ilia vs Movsar, Ilia vs Lopes(if Lopes can get on a nice streak).

Topuria wants to retire at 30. On the timeline he's on in his mind, it's probably the perfect time to move up--after beating two legends of the weight class. Topuria is 28.

Notes from Dana's post fight presser:
-Now have top 3 Events ever in that Miami arena
-FOTN goes to the main event. POTN to paddy and silva
-alot of "we're working on it" when asked about future fights and venues
-gave Bryce some credit for standing on his views all week and taking alot of shite and standing up and fighting like a man with his back against the wall
-Paddy will get a top guy next
-Tuesday sounds like a big day for announcements. Contract discussions open up and said they're happy with ESPN but will field other offers. PPV could go away all together if they put it on a streaming service
-They signed Aaron Pico who's another big Bellator name and only 28. Word is he'll get a big featherweight fight out the gate. Evloev was mentioned
-Wants to give Volk a defense in Sydney
-Working on a Brazil card before the year is out
Still nothing on New Orleans. Fingers crossed for Tuesday.

Feel like Bryce either needs to be sent off to just be a side show guy in a minor promotion or if you keep him in UFC he is stuck on fight nights and prelims, until he wins like 5 or 6 in a row and he has to join a real gym. He feels like some trailer park kid just doing this for fun and that works at the lowest levels but if he wants to be on a main card he has to take it seriously.
I think they want him to workout because he is so fricked up in the head it’s a good click bait thing but if he keeps getting thrashed by the better guys it won’t work.
