Ok but Islam was way out of shape in the first Volk fight

That said I think Poirier has a good chance at winning this. Just a weird feeling I have

I went and looked at a couple of the Willie Spence videos and tons of the comments are about Poirier. This matchup is starting to get one of those feels to it. Reminds me of 2019 UF v LSU on GameDay when Corso did his pick. Just had a feel to it and it seems that was the game when the nation went, 'hey this LSU team might be a lot more than just a Top 5 team' and they just kept rolling from there. One of Corso's best moments. Ah, the good ole days of CFB. Maybe Poirier will get some of that magic tonight.

Would be epic if he can pull it off.

There does seem to be a weird feeling around this fight, like anything can happen. Islam also apparently has staph infection in his leg (not sure how he's even allowed to fight with that if true) , but then I go watch the Porier v Khabib fight and interviews with Islam and I think there's no way Porier can win.

I also think Dustin may come out with a Maga hat on, which would electrify the crowd even more. Just never know.

How is this even possible? These Dagastanis have the most intense training in the world.

Watching this Poirier path-to-the-fight thing. Poirier's such a legend, man.

If they hadn't mentioned the new gloves, I probably wouldn't have even noticed. But now that I'm looking at them, they look like they have a lot more padding in them / leeway space between the fingers and the glove material.

Perez could have rushed and attacked after the spinning backfist, then missed the arm bar. Got the decision at least.

Yeah you should man. Not every card is great but if you hit the right one it’s a great night. I love the ufc walkouts so this poirier one is gonna hit for me.

Really solid fight between Gall and Hafez. Giving the nod to Hafez.
