Khamzat should def take that diaz fight if diaz will play ball. Easy fight and if he mauls diaz like he should then he will get the title shot without having to face a tougher opponent. Id much rather fight diaz than someone like vicente lucque who is a killer.

as bad as i want to watch colby beat usman, i just don't see how he does with how the first fight went. he through it all at usman and just got outworked at the end. hopefully he finds a way to counter those body shots.

GOAT? People throw this term around loosely. Khamzat might beat his arse

Who else have I said that about? You might beat his arse too but that’s not going to happen. He’s the best welterweight since GSP, he’s 19-1 with 0 losses in the UFC, hasn’t lost since 2013, he’s knocked out Covington, Burns, and Masvidal in his last 4 fights, and from a pure technique standpoint he’s probably the best in the UFC right now. The fact that you’re even arguing that like I’m making some ridiculous claim just proves my point about his personality killing his marketability to people who don’t know what they’re looking at

He absolutely could go down as the best ever at 170 with 2-3 more title defenses, and that’s not really even a stretch. Who would have a better resume at welterweight if he beat Covington and Khamzat then retired?

He’s still behind GSP’s 26-2 with 9 title defenses.

Man I am pumped for UFC 268. I would pay for it, if it was just the last 3 fights of the night. Gonna be a good one.

Every keeps talking about the 3 main fight but they need to watch this Alex Pereira. Dude is the only person to knock out Israel Adesanya. He also beat him in a decision so he’s 2-0 vs ufc middle weight champion in kickboxing.

dont know that I agree. alot of people had colby up until he got finished. perhaps if his jaw wasnt hurt he would have won. some of the timeouts by the ref were questionable also.

Agreed. The “nut shot” and “eye poke” were questionable to say the least.

I agree. It was a super close fight but remember unless it’s completly one sided the judges are not gonna take the belt from a champion. Colby did very well in that fight, but the body shots kept him at bay and a few times he staggers Usman and couldn’t capitalize. I don’t believe the fight goes the same as last time, but if it does and Colby stays southpaw is like you see some more inside leg kicks.

Well he's not saying it doesnt happen. But there's been some close contests that have gone to the challenger. It doesn't have to be a blowout

Yeah thats the point. I think at the 3 min mark of the 5th round it could have easily been colbys fight. Take out whatever happened to his jaw in the middle of the fight and he may have been up even more.

I think the biggest concern for colby is usman moving to whittman and what that has done for his striking. Usman has also been more active, but 2 of those fights were against masvidal who just isnt a top level fighter. Colby hasnt been that active and fought an obviously finished tyron woodley but dominated him just like usman. We are also not really sure how the new gym will prepare him for usman. Ive heard of those guys but trevor whittman has the skins on the wall. Nunes was just average with them and then blew up at ATT.

I was sick after their first fight. I parlayed the whole main card and nailed all of them going into the main event, had Colby winning. Looked like he was on his way until that last round, would have won $2500 if he won

Well the only people that count are the judges and here's the score card

He would've had to win Rd 5 on two of the cards, but he didn't

just rewatched Rd 5 & Usman would have clearly won without the finish so
