I agree but I wonder if that was due to being rocked so bad and never getting his legs back.
It was clear his plan was to weaponize pace but nothing zaps that energy like getting cracked in the jaw

I think his game plan was to just go and go snd go and try to tire out Yan. Between every round his corner kept telling him to speed up the pressure because he was "in better shape" than Yan... But it didn't work at all.
Yan was barely out of breath between rounds while Aljo was fricking gassed. He also was getting the hell beat out of him and the corner didn't seem to have a plan B. That was it. Just pressure. And it didn't work.
