I enjoyed the fight, frick what everyone thinks.

Adesanya can't stand and bang with Romero unless he wants to get decapitated. He did what he had to do to avoid damage and used brilliant head movement to avoid the power shots.

Romero let Adesanya dictate the pace so that he could counter with bombs because he knows that engaging in a technical kickboxing match will end with him exhausted and getting picked apart.

I can't knock either fighter for executing their game plans and not caving in to the crowd booing.

Fine then for what? Not giving you enough action? This isn’t fricking WWE, styles differ and sometimes it leads to boring fights. Stop being a spoiled fan, this isn’t the bare knuckle fighting promo

Robert Whittaker fought 50 minutes and look what it has done to his career. Izzy fought a smart fight and did what he had to do win. Simple as that

Why are there always a select few that stand up for boring performances saying they enjoy a “technical” match.

I guarantee Dana is livid at that fricking fight. And i think it’ll effect most likely Yoel going forward. Prob offer him less money or incentives whatever on the next one.

Understand on the styles. First round nothing for first three minutes. And 5 strikes total? That’s unfrickingacceptable. And I hope Dana says the same. We will see.

Yeah of course I was hoping for more. Everyone was

Had to pay for this card this morning and watch it (something came up last night and couldn't watch). Buying the ppv was the best way to avoid spoilers.

Was glad I paid until I got to the main event
Reminded me of Ngannou vs Lewis

Adesanya did what he had to do. Reminded me of Floyd.

Fought very defensively.

Romero can whine all he wants, he was the one doing most of the dancing and posturing.

What did you want Romero to do though?

He wanted to square but knew Adesanya wanted no part

Adesanya stuck to his plan throughout the fight, kudos to him

But

I felt Yoel was more annoyed that Adesanya kept backtracking and that’s why there so many hand/facial gestures... definitely felt like Yoel got in his head before the fight

Match was lame as frick

That shite was unbearably weak, especially in light of the fight before.

Israel called out Yoel and then did nothing. Really dampens the excitement around a possible Jon Jones match-up since Jones seems to be coasting a little as well.

If the champ has to utter the words along the lines of I put some welps on his leg at the end of a fight then the fight was total shite. I mean I have never seen a ref tell both fighters they need to show the judges something to be able to score a fight.

Great tactical matchup

So many fans just want a knockout or entertain, stick to boxing

Am I the only once that thought Joanna did enough to win that fight? I thought she dominated 3.5 rounds of that fight.

One of my top 5 fights of all time.
