Barboza is a great striker and kabib ragdolled him

See it goes both ways

But history has shown in general a great grappler can take down a striker. I don’t like Conor and I want kabib to win, but at the end of the day I won’t be surprised if either fighter wins. And I’m ok with that

Khabib isn't afraid to stand with Conor. Look at this gif.

He might not be afraid to stand with him but his chances of winning drop every minute Conor is on his feet.

I was joking. Khabib is smart enough to know that Conor will frick him up standing.

Barboza was getting destroyed but was still throwing punches at the end of the fight and that was 3 rounds... Khabib will gas doing that for 5 rounds, watch the Ragin Al fight .. it's just a matter of if Conor can survive it..

It's an awesome fight that really can end up playing out several different ways.. like I said can't wait.

I don’t think Mcgregor survives the 1st round

Khabib has 10 fights in the UFC, only one 1st round finish... but ok

if you're told that the fight ended in round 1, who would you guess won?
Similarly if you're told the fight went 4-5, who would you guess?
I think the answer is pretty obvious.

I won't either. It's hard to predict what will happen but I have a strong feeling that Khabib is going to relentlessly pursue the takedown for 25 minutes and never give Conor an opportunity to strike. Fans will boo their asses off but if Khabib does what he usually does he will dominate the fight.

If Conor stuffs the first few takedowns and starts landing shots that crowd is going to go absolutely nuts.

I watched a few of Khabib’s fights. His stand up is terrible especially his punches. He leaves himself wide open and swings like a wild man. Connor will definitely tag him over and over again. This entire fight depends on if Connor has enough power to seriously hurt Khabib. Connor picked Nate Diaz apart but could not hurt him bad enough with all those clean shots. Khabib is the bigger man and Connor might not have enough power.

Khabib's striking is fine, it's his defense that's a problem. Leaves his head high and dry. If he stays on the feet too long with Conor he'll get tagged.

Conor might not have enough power to hurt Khabib? What?

I said seriously hurt him. Watch the first Nate Diaz fight. Conor fought a bigger man and hit him with clean shot after clean shot in the first round. None of these shots seriously hurt Nate.

Figured I’d give it a shot in here instead of starting a thread. Anyone know where I can watch UFC in Bal Harbour area of Miami? Didn’t want to have to ace-stream it from my hotel but I will if I don’t find anything

As far as the fight goes I think if Conor doesn’t KO Khabib in 1.5 rounds then I think the odds swing to Khabib’s favor bigly

Ok. Not sure what you mean here. Are you saying Khabib has a weaker chin than Nate? Nate has much better hand strikes than Khabib and Connor had zero trouble finding the mark over and over again.
