If you look through both Nate & Nick's careers, they both have had similar careers. Very underrated fighters.

RDA open to Superfight with Lawler at UFC 200. I'd be down for that.

Im sure he is but i just dont see that ending well for him... Mcgregor either. Lawler is a beast and a tough motherfricker.

I doubt the guy with one title defense who speaks four words of English gets a super fight. Sounds like they're trying to get GSP for Lawler and if he doesn't want to fight they'll throw nate Diaz in with all the shine he stole off Conor.

simply putting 2 guys with plain corrugated cardboard personalities in a fight does not make a fight a superfight.

RDA fricked that whole notion up by injuring himself and pulling out from the McGregor fight.

There's not many options for a superfight at the moment.

If Faber can beat Cruz for the belt and his first defense is against TJ. That could be a superfight.

Ronda vs Holm or Tate isn't quite there.

Ronda vs. Cyborg had the ingredients for a superfight but that's out the window now.

There's nothing in the HW division to get excited about.

CM Punk getting whooped isn't it either. Brendan Schaub had the best idea for marketing that, the UFC blew it. Schaub thought that Punk should not have announced he was going to fight in the UFC before training. He thought Punk should have got his 2 years of training in then came out of the blue with peak intrigue and come into the fight w/o the pressure he has now. In addition we all now know he's a pussy and has a load of injuries and can't stay healthy enough to fight an unknown Mickey Gall who has the tools to embarrass Punk.

FW, LW, and WW have nothing to offer in terms of a superfight it's why there was even a hint of a chance for McGregor to fight for those belts.

MW has Rockhold/Weidman but Rockhold isn't a household name and Yomero is out for who knows how long.

Nick Diaz can come back in the summer after UFC 200, but who's got the name and game strong enough to put up against the 209 craze right now? They need to get Melendez a fight ready so he can be ready to rock the day his suspension is lifted. Buy out Jake Shield's contract and match him up w/ Gunnar Nelson or a straight blast gym guy. Piggyback on Diaz's dethroning of Mcgregor as much as possible.

LHW has Cormier/Jones and Jon Jones getting his belt back in April. I guess you go Gustaffson or Rumble after that but there's no prospect of a superfight w/ Jones unless Rockhold destroys Weidman again and moves up.

Even McGregor's mystique has been blown away for any sort of superfight status. His jits hasn't improved one bit since he got into the UFC. He couldn't do anything to Diaz at the end of the first round when he was on top, Diaz was a wizard on his back to not give McGregor any opportunity to hurt him there.

It's a little intriguing to see what a motivated in shape Diaz could do against RDA, but RDA manhandled him so bad last time there's not much to hype up around that fight. Plus RDA gives you squat for media and Nate is a disaster with press too.

McGregor will talk himself into more opportunities, but everyone will be taking him to school on the ground. He's gotta get better real fast or he's done in 3 more fights.

Yeah. I was caught off guard by his ground performance.

I mean, I knew that wasn't his thing but shite, he looked utterly lost at the end. Nate looked like he was doing a demo for the audience while Conor let him move him around.

You can't be THAT lost on the ground in MMA. I guess it's a testament to how great a striker he is that he's gotten away with it this long.

I knew the ground is Nate's thing.............but really............damn Conor was bad.

Robbie would absolutely be the favorite. I just like the idea of a division champ going up in weight to fight another division champ.

I would take either of those matchups or even Nate vs GSP.

I really though faber and tj should have been the next fight. unless they are just talking shite but behind the scenes saying they dont want to fight.

they really fricked this up(could have made a boatload of money before rouseys loss), but rhonda was being a count and not wanting to give up 5 lbs for the fans to get the fight they wanted. id love to see holly and cyborg.

gustaffson is done. I think jones rumble is the best fight available at lhw. I think rumble takes him out.

Yeah, but you can't really blame Ronda. A catchweight fight with nothing on the line would have had far less meaning than Cyborg vs Rousey for the 135lb Belt. She is making money anyway and had all the leverage. Cyborg is the one who needed to make the weight if she wanted to get paid. And I despise Ronda, so i'm not trying to take her side. I would love to see Cyborg smash her.

Meh, RR has multiple fights at 145. Fans wanted to see it and she let them down. It would've done huge numbers. It was nothing more than the ufc protecting her.

Ronda vs Cyborg with GSP comeback vs Lawler at UFC 200 would of been HUGE. Well over 2 million buys.

GSP's comeback now slots in to the main even and it will still do a little over a million buys

If Dana was smart he could have made it for the inaugrual 145 belt. Worse case scenario, Ronda loses and is still the bantamweight champion. Hindsight is 20/20.

You don't need to create a new belt. No one cares, the fight would of been billed as the top 2 P4P female fighters in the world.

Faras keeps calling out Nate to fight GSP on Twitter. Pretty pathetic if he'll only comeback to fight the weakling 155 lb little brother of someone he already beat. I hope the ufc doesn't give him that one.

GSP was the most boring champion in the history of the sport when he was good. His comeback will just be sad.

Best case scenario: he lays on someone for a half hour.

I'm 100% sure now he was at 196 to go in the ring and take a fight with Conor had Conor won. GSP got apparently even more frightened of fighting guys his own size while out.

GSP vs Lawler is actually an exciting fight. Lawler will put GSP on the back foot and make him fight, if GSP is still himself he'll make Lawler respect his jab early and then get it to the ground in the 4th and 5th

The problem with St. Pierre is that he was at one time the most exciting fighter in the UFC then after the Serra loss he became one of the most boring. It's so frustrating because you knew he could be in there finishing people but he didn't want to risk it.
He went from being "Rush" to "GSP" and I'm not just talking about his nickname
