Hendricks vs MacDonald, Woodley vs Lawler and Lombard vs Diaz on the same card?

If I'm cheering for Lawler, I want him to at least attempt a couple of leg kicks. Even if he just goes through the motion. I understand that he didn't think they were there, but given his relative success standing in the pocket with Hendricks, keeping Johny honest and not allowing him to as aggressively lower that right shoulder could have potentially opened up more holes for Lawler's hands.

I'm out in New Orleans, just how good was Lawler-Hendricks?

I think the late takedown might've fricked Lawler's game up.

I think that won the fight for Hendricks.

I don't understand how people are arguing this decision. It was very clear johnny won 1,2, and 5 and Robbie won 3 and 4. Great fight but easy fight to judge.

I would rather Woodley vs Lombard.

Let the two freakazoids battle it out and show Lombard he can't get a title shot out of a blistering 1st Round and a cruise control 2nd and 3rd.

Anyone here think Rory really deserves the title shot over Tyron?

Eta: not that I would be opposed to Lombard vs. Woodley

I think we are arguing the decision based on interpretation of who one the 2nd Round. Either way, the 2nd Round is not immune from debate, not easy to judge, IMO.

It was in the "great" category. Back and forth, both guy coming back from being hurt, 5 rounds of constant action and lots....LOTS of hard hits.

There are arguments for both, but, like this fight, forced to decide, I would go with Rory.

I think the resumes over the last 4/2/1 years, slightly favor Rory.

That may or, may not be consistent with who I think has a better shot of beating Johny. But, who I think deserves the shot the most.

It was top-tier. Borderline, if not, epic.

ETA: I am wasted, though.

Johnny was much more diverse in the second round and landed more shots. Robbie was just trying to work his way in but got peppered the whole time.

I'm honestly not sure either guy deserves a shot. Why not do a rematch of Hendricks-Lawler and let Lombard and Rory or Woodley fight for the next shot?

I think Woodley would be the much more fun matchup to watch and I think deserves it more especially beating someone like Condit and demolishing koscheck. I'm very biased in this though because I can't stand Rory and I don't think a win over Demian Maia outweighs wins over Kos and Condit.

Hendrick's weight cut almost cost him.

This presser is awesome. Hendricks is real.
