JDS is one tough bastard. VERY few men that could take that kind of beating. In fact I am not sure I could name any for sure that could. Maybe Nog or Fedor as they showed they can withstand a horrific beating. And you can only go with HWs. No smaller man can take a beating like that no matter how tough.

Big Country?

And I'm intrigued, more now than ever, how Jon Jones would fare in the HW division

Maybe. Lots of padding to absorb body blows.

Me too. In two years, he COULD be a force at HW. He has the frame to move up for sure.

nog could take that beating in his prime and so could fedor. but one is retired and one unfortunately needs to as well.

Prime Fedor would submit Cain in the first 2 minutes of the fight

Is prime Fedor the same thing as motivated BJ, old Vitor, and healthy Shogun?

Was Cain's dominance last night less or more surprising than Edgar over Penn in their rematch?

Spoke with Cormier. He's not moving to LHW. Not yet anyway.

He's got the showtime fight then he wants Frank Mir. Then it's a possibility.

JDS was totally spent after about 1 minute. It was embarrassing. Cain was gassed by the end of the 1st round. The whole main card was nothing but tired fighters going rock-em-sock-em. Worst PPV I've ever seen.

There's a reason why JDS was spent in the 1st round

What? Joe Lauzon barely surviving? He's a tough guy, but something so one-sided can hardly be considered FOTY.

I won't argue that. At least Lauzon was still trying at the end.
