He will lose when he goes to heavyweight. No way he stays at lhw for much longer. Nobody in that division will challenge him just based on reach. Gustaffon is no threat either.

Jones has it all. Physical ability and intelligence.

That there was literally nothing one of the best fighters in LHW could do that he couldn't counter. He dominated that fight in every single way possible.

pretty shitty gameplan from Rashad. Hardly no takedown attempts. back against the cage all night and out of range. Blackzillians camp is the SWAC of mma.

Jones is pretty entertaining to me.

As far as his size goes, he's kind of like the MMA version of Wlad Klitschko. When you've got that big of a physical advantage and you're skilled, it's just almost impossible to deal with. Guys go into a defensive shell against Klitschko, guys go into a defensive shell against Jones.

Granted, the comparison only goes so far. Jones is easily more adventurous than Wlad and more entertaining.

Jones is gonna fight Hendo and if he beats him i think he will move to heavywieght. maybe theyll give him a title fight at HW and try to make him the first man t hold two belts at the same time.

he has humiliated the main contenders in the LHW division. There's literally no one who can contend with him in that division but at HW there are some very interesting fights.

IMO Rashad had a bad game plan. From the start he should've been looking for a take down. Rather he got it or not he needed to have Jones thinking. Instead, Rashad was extremely one dimensional. Like I stated earlier in this thread; when/IF Rashad can find a good medtim of striking and wrestling, he'll be a tough fight for anyone.

I honestly don't think takedown attempts would've mattered

He can't take HW; hope he doesn't make that jump now.

I love the Jones still tries to finish fights and "win." He's not just content to go the distance, though he easily could have for his last several fights. He understands his role as an entertainer.

Agreed, elite foes and partners that know one another all too well, and respected each other's strengths..very cautious fight..

Dare say too cautious for Evans, as he is aiming for his "big" right hand to win this fight? Evans is a decisioner historically, a wrestler despite his balanced skillsets, he wasn't gonna knock out Bones..

For him to try win with his hands, is basically admitting Jones to be superior in most any facet, and relying solely on puncher's chance.

Back to the drawing board.

The thing is at hw Jones doesn't have the one shot knockout power which will be a huge problem for him in the division. JDS will catch him in a 5 round fight.

Sure he can. Jones is a massive 205er.
