Lightweight bout: Mark Bocek vs. John Alessio

Preliminary Card (FX)

Welterweight bout: Matt Brown vs. Stephen Thompson
Lightweight bout: John Makdessi vs. Anthony Njokuani
Lightweight bout: Mac Danzig vs. Efrain Escudero

LOL at Travis Browne being an undefeated 12-0 (4-0 UFC) heavyweight and still being on the undercard. He just isn't passing the eyeball test I guess.

I almost included that in the OP. No way dude should be fighting on the undercard still (even though he's technically 3-0-1 in tUFC). His fight with Griggs and the Stephen Thompson/Matt Brown fight are going to be awesome....all those guys bring it.

Eta: people have been bitching about 145 being weak, but I think this will be a great card. No way these match-ups don't deliver.....

Only the jones evans match has me pumped up. The other fights on the main card are going to be good but I really could care less about the results.

Rashad is going to get destroyed, Jones is a young taller version of AS.

You and I are on the same boat. I am pumped about these two fights. Stephen Thompson is legit!

Please Baby Jesus send your angels to protect Rashad, because we all know that Johnny Bones is going to hurt that punk.

1. Hendo
2. Winner of Phil Davis/Alexander Gustaffson (not announced but this fight will happen IMO)

Davis is just coming off looking like an amateur against Rashad and those two are training partners. I don't see it.

He's a legend man....an all-time great.

Ordinarily I agree about fighting whoever they put in front of you, but Hendo has earned that right to be picky. He has paid his dues and it's either title fight or retire at this point. Dude is 41 and shouldn't have to fight Gustaffson for the #1 contender spot....he already has that place secured.

he's like 70. if he fights machida or shogun and loses, he misses out on his last chance for a huge payday

He's getting the deserved treatment that Randy got when he came out of retirement to dethrone Sylvia.

It is absolutely warranted, ESPECIALLY after knocking out Fedor.

Plus, Gustafsson has to beat a wrestler before he can be taken seriously as a title threat, and you have no challengers as a draw for the LHW belt after Rashad.

Is Thompson that kickboxing kid that had that sweet knockout awhile back?

Welterweight bout: Rory MacDonald

What's going to happen when this kid is in the number one contender spot?

He's in the same camp as GSP, getting the same training and apparently the same juice. Oops, did I say that out loud?

It's bound to happen the dude is on a roll and he's only 22.
