It does not matter. Machida might not have matched up well against Shogun but it does not mean he does not match up well with Jones. Not to mention the Shogun that showed up against Machida was not the one that showed up last night. I wouldn't be surprised if Evans handles Jones in the upcoming fight. He's has much more experience and trained with Jones so he knows his tendencies.

It doesn't matter? Shogun gets a brutal ko of Machida in the 1st and then can barely land a strike while trying to survive for 2 1/2 rounds with Jones. That goes beyond some guys just matching up with others better.

Shogun had much more experience than Rashad, as did Matyushenko and it didn't help them against Jones. Jones is just as familiar with Rashad's tendencies as Rashad is with his.

Jones is better in literally every area but knockout power.

shite, I'd say Jones has more knockout power than Evans.

His fights against Coleman, Liddell, and the two against Machida he was great.

His fight against Coleman was one of the worst I think I've ever seen, and who hasn't looked impressive against Chuck lately? I was impressed with the two fights against Machida, but he hasn't looked anything like the dude who was running through Pride.

This was a ridiculously tough fight for Shogun, ESPECIALLY when coming off of another major injury/surgery. Not saying he wouldve won anyway, but he definitely didn't look 100%

but I think it just boils down to this. His knees are shot and even if they aren't he doesn't want to put in the conditioning that he needs to

Rashad

"Many of u probably already seen that I got offered the title shot & decided 2 take it. @jonnybones fought amazing! I'm very happy 4 him! ... With that said I can't wait 4 the chance 2 compete against him! I no longer will use Greg Jackson as my coach but we r still coo! 505 4life ... @Sam_Blackburn I will not use Greg ever again.. I really haven't used him in a while anyways.. In my last 2 fights I trained with him 5x's.. ... @pirushaccy no worries the fans r always like 2 me! But then they wait hrs 4 me 2 sign something or take a picture. They r fake! ... @danstrandberg Greg brought this situation about. He brought Jones on board a while back against my wishes & here we r today. ... @danstrandberg so I decided 2 leave Greg because I felt like he didn't have my best interest anymore. Greg is not the same coach he use 2 b. ... I know @jonnybones style well cuz we trained 2gether & he knows mine. Now it's just a matter of who payed more attention or held back more."

Evans I think should go over to Xtreme Couture. Saying that I hope Jones knocks his head off. He's still bitching about the fans. Ever since he played the race card about black guys having to overcome stereotypes in MMA I've been off his bandwagon.

What other black MMA fighter besides maybe Anderson, who is obviously Brazilian, is not a fan favorite?

This,

I don't think training with Renzo is the best plan for Rashad.

Black douche-bags always play the race card. No one who's a douche will admit it. I hope Jones kills Evans. I was praying Page would get another shot against him but Jones will do.

I'm glad cro cop is done with the ufc. He will probably go to japan and hopefully headkick some scrubs and end his career on a high note. The guys in the ufc are just to big for him now he just doesn't have the speed anymore.

I know. We all said the same thing about Machida. Now I wonder if Machida can get by Randy. If Jones beats Evans, you would think Page gets the next shot since he should beat Hammill easily. That would make an interesting match if Page is motivated.

He's not too far away from a title shot. He's looked very impressive in his last couple of fights I've seen.

Tito vs Bader coming up. This could be the end of Tito in the UFC.

Lots of Rua fans were complaining about Camp Jackson's Jones dirty tactics during the fight. I watched it again and it does seem Jones was elbowing and thumbing Rua in the throat but I didn't see the illegal 12-6 elbows they were talking about. I seriously doubt it would change the outcome of the fight. I'd like to hear KBreezy's thoughts on this.
