i was thinking that but lesnar made sure to throw some sort of punch every few seconds so that it wasn't stopped

He didn't do a great job defending himself, but you could tell he was still there trying to defend.

Yeah, makes me wonder if this shite is somewhat scripted

that's where I'm going with all of this. There are definitely influences from the outside. Like some fighters being directed to keep it on the mat or on their feet.

Nah, Brock kicked him away. Brock is a good 15 to 20 pounds lighter then he normally looks in the cage. I was thinking those reports were bullshite. That said, Carwin was damn damn close to finishing him in the first round. When it went to the second I was wondering if Carwin would then be able withstand the takedowns.

Will Sherdog.com have a meltdown now? Fedor and Carwin both tapout in the same week!

shouldve been stopped in the 1st imo. brock took ALOT of punches w/o defending himself

while he did get tagged ALOT, Brock kept covering up, not like he couldn't get his arms up to defend...I thought the ref was right in letting it continue...

hole e shite

i thought it was over, as did almost everyone in here most likely. props to lesnar for keeping with it. there was no way it was ending due to ref stoppage. brock knew shane was gassed and ended it quickly. those arms, once you're locked in you're tapping. simply amazing

The outcome was what I expected with Lesnar winning, but damn I thought Carwin had it. I think if he would have made Lesnar get up he could have continued to rock him, but instead he tired himself out.

Props to Lesnar for weathering the storm and getting the win in the end.

I think it speaks more than anything to how Brock survived that ground and pound. Just unreal.

I knew that was the only way Lesnar was getting out with a win. Carwin should have known better. He beat the shite out of him in the 1st and then let go of an golden opportunity. I was not pleased with this card at all. The fights were not all that great.

Did you watch the same fights as everyone else?

Easily one of the best overall cards in a long time
