His best victory to date is over James Irwin.

He was the one that exposed Houston Alexander. I'd say that was his biggest win, at that time anyway.

The Alexander win had the biggest notoriety but I was basing it on talent alone.

how the hell this guy makes 185lbs? he's huge

Rich Franklin is bigger than Nate and he makes 185. At least before Anderson Silva scared him to 205.

dropping that much weight in that short of time can't be good.

These guys have it down to science..Especially if they have a wrestling background, then they been doing most of their life

In terms of percentage, it's probably him or Thiago Alves

No way he could make it these days. Not without dropping alot of muscle mass.

Percentage I would say Diego Sanchez.

Dude won TUF 1 fighting as a middleweight.

Didn't Joe Riggs at one time fight at HW?

Yeah, but he was fat as shite. Comparing fat Riggs to WW Riggs doesn't count.

Yea I think someone said he was pusing 3 bills at one time.

What is Kendall Grove's walk around weight?

I think 300 lbs is one of Goldie and Rogan's exagerations. This is the fatest picture I can find of him.

He would be up there. It looks like he cut a lot of his "walk around" weight though too now that he's at LW. He definitely doesn't have the mass on his body that he used too at WW.

I agree, you can't count out Randy or Big Nog ever. They are two of the smartest fighters ever

Nog currently only does BJJ better then Randy, at least IMO. I do think most would agree with that though. I just don't think he can get Randy with that. Fight might go 5 rounds with Randy pushing him against the cage though. If he tries to pull guard on Randy, he won't flip him over like he did with Sylvia.

it's a 3 rounder, no?

Talking about weight cutting, here is an article talking about Ohio doing same day weigh-ins for WEC 43.
LINK
Interesting note
quote:

The commission does sometimes waive the second set of weigh-ins – about a third of the time, Profato estimated – but his inspectors don't find out for sure until they're on site for the first set of weigh-ins.

In fact, the second set of weigh-ins were waived for all four of the UFC events held in Ohio to date (three in Columbus and one in Cincinnati). But although the WEC is a sister promotion of the UFC, that doesn't mean it'll get the waiver as well.

Yeah, brain fart. Both of them have been champs so much I didn't even think about it.

True. I think this is only going to be Randy's 3rd or 4th UFC fight that isn't for a title.

i predict boredom. man that is a shitty card.

This really is but in no way can they show a free card with Randy and Big Nog headlining it.

It's sad to think that the 2nd fight I'm looking most forward to is Demian Maia vs. Nate Marquardt. I guess this is what makes MMA better than boxing. I have never in recent memory ever look forward to a fight other than the main event.
