If Bob Sapp wasn't too big for Rodrigo then nobody is.

Did Randy not submit in Round 1? Either way, great fight for what I thought would be a shite fight.

How could Randy look so good against Lesnar (albeit in a loss) and not have an answer for Noguera?

Nogueira is no joke.

31-5, and besides the Mir loss, which they attribute to being hospitalized, his only other losses were to Fedor twice, Dan Henderson, and Josh Barnett.

Nog is a bad man. I knew that he was being underrated on here. This also makes me think the Fedor/Couture stuff is overblown. I re-watched the Fedor/Nog fights recently on youtube and Nog got dominated in both of them.

Including the Lesnar fight, I've never seen Randy pushed around like that. He got his arse bullied.

until he fights the big dog at least. he eats those punches from lesnar and it's lights out. lesnar is no bob sapp.

eta: i would love to see nog kick the crap out of mir though, any chance of a rematch?

i expected couture to try to push nog with some punches and work for a takedown with the clinch near the fence.

randy got worked.

if nog stays injury free and work on sone agility and power some guys may be in trouble. i still feel he is missing a step and his chin still isn't quite what it used to be. but he was definitely leaner and in better condition for this fight than the mir fight

I love Nog and have for years. But his stand up was weak. He had no head movement whatsoever and got hit often. If Randy had any kind of punch, it would have been brutal for Nog. I can see why Mir cracked him last time..anyone with power would have dropped him.

Again, I LOVE Nog. But the way he fought tonight, he'll get stopped more often than not. IMO anyways.

Yeah. Thanks. As I said, Nog is the better fighter as has been his entire career. I predicted iron chin Nog tonight and a decision. I was afraid the home town judges might give a decision to Randy, but BIG props to the UFC for not being "boxing" and giving it to the guy that deserved it regardless.
