In the last month or so...

-3 freshman booted from the team
-2 OL academically ineligible
-Another OL suspended
-Another OL injured
-Sophomore All-American DE Datrone Jones broke his foot today

Good news for Kansas State and Texas.

Thats sucks for those kids who got injured. UCLA still can't hold a light to the Volunteers.

one of which your program welcomed with open arms......just messing with you

I think Neuheisel is just cleaning house and turning them around. Until he completely falls on his face as a coach I will believe otherwise. I am curious to see how their offense does this year. Could be a tough one up in Seattle for you.

They don't have an OL so idk how their offense is going to be, but they had a great defense last year. It will be interesting to see how good their defense is this year without Price in the middle and Jones on the edge. That's the 5pm Thursday night ESPN game and Jake's last home game, so UW will definitely be fired up for that.

He still has a couple more years to go, just like you guys. Although you guys have gotten further along and are closer to really being good than he is. You know he has that game circled on his schedule. I will be watching.

eta...still think they beat KSU.

UT lost a WR for the year due to an injury yesterday. Walk on track guy, but you can add that to the list.

A lot of times the players will tell the coaches up front during the recruiting process that they plan on taking a mission. If the school even wants a chance at them, they have to say that it wouldn't be a problem. So they sign the recruit, he plays one year, then disappears for two years. Even though they said it was alright, you know the coaches have to be pissed off about it and try to convince them not to go.

Off the subject a little but doesnt UCLA beat Tennessee every year no matter what they have? Do they play again this year?

Yeah, UCLA beat Tennessee the past 2 years. UCLA plays Houston, Kansas State, and Texas non-conference this year.

"14th all-time gridiron meeting between Tennessee and UCLA, with the Volunteers holding a 7-4-2 all-time edge dating to 1965. The Big Orange boast a 2-1 record against the Bruins in Pasadena."

So it's 7-5-2 now and no they do not play this year. UT has Oregon from the left coast.

Gotcha, I dont follow the Vols that close, it just seems that they have had trouble with the west teams the last few years. Didnt Montana or someone like that beat them also. It seems like them, Miss State and Arkansas have had trouble with the OOC West teams.

I think it could get ugly, even with a new QB.
