Wrong. All schools claim national championships based on some other body awarding it to them. No major (or minor) organization in America will declare UCF "national champions"
This is them just making it up completely on their own.
Also, no team has claimed a national title outside the AP/Coaches poll for almost 40 years now.

What about them? Other than ‘41, can you find a problem with the other four we claim, especially when you consider there was no universally accepted system in place to award titles in those days?

This doesn’t surprise me,Disney gave UCF a parade after the 2013 season when they beat Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl.

Other than 1941, I’d love to see your arguments against the other 15 we claim.
11 of the 16 we claim were won in the so-called Poll Era. Those are about as legitimate as they come.

So UCF postponed a scheduled game with Texas and outright refused to reschedule Georgia Tech (can't use the conference title game as an excuse since Navy did it last year) but now they want Alabama and/or Georgia.

I give UTjr fans shite about it all the time. I don't see how it's "far worse" than you claiming 41 though since they at least won the SEC.
Does anyone else claim a title when they were 3rd in their conference, lost 2 games, and finished #20 in the only major poll?

Zero.
They claim one in 1964 when they went 10-1, losing to Texas in the Orange Bowl. Arkansas went 11-0, beating Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl, and beating Texas earlier that year.

I looked at UCF's schedule, and you just can't add them to the playoffs with that resume with it being only 4 teams. I am not advocating we increase to 8 btw.
