The development side for Green I understand, just not sure why he didn’t have to sit out being that he changed schools

Green couldn't play basketball because his AAU team had a coach that was also on staff for the Zachary Basketball team but he was eligible for football.

Very late to this party but can't help correcting the record on this inaccurate & hypocritical remark.
You said Episcopal "started" beating U-High in 13'/14' - Wrong. U-High's last year being in a district with Episcopal was 2012/2013. U-High beat Episcopal in football, basketball & baseball that school year.
You referenced Episcopal beat them rarely. Assuming we're talking football (Because this is a football topic & for years baseball/basketball was pretty even) the only time Episcopal ever beat them in football in their last 20 matchups was 2010 which was a 7-6 victory for the mighty Knights - So once again, wrong.
You mentioned U-High said F this & took it to a higher level. That's a bit hypocritical. That's like saying, "Shame on them for bringing liquor to a beer party". Also, I PROMISE you, U-High did not decide to allow more minorities in the school because of their rare short comings against 1 school. It sounds silly to even say that out loud. LSU, their governing body, wanted them to diversify & they listened.
You mentioned they took it so far that they moved up to 3A - Wrong, their enrollment increased to the 3A level, so they moved up. & I guess when your enrollment rises, that means you have in fact "ruined a fun rivalry in sports".
Sincerely, a local sports writer that didn't even go to U-High

And this is why there should be a split between public schools and private schools.
U-High is set up as a public school for people with money and influence.
