Upvoted since you shared the video. The tweet from MLFootball is retarded. After seeing what happened, the cop was right. You don’t roll your window up after being argumentative. For all the cop knows, he was getting a weapon.

He also didn't initially have his window rolled down when the cop got up to him. That's what started this whole thing. He walks up on a car with tinted windows with those windows still rolled up, he knocks for Hill to roll the window down, Hill obliges but then starts being an a-hole because the cop forced him to roll down his windows during a traffic stop. THEN he rolls the window back up - which angers the cops and makes them get antsy because they don't know what he's doing behind those tinted windows. He could be getting a gun for all they know.
I have become more skeptical of cops over the years but Hill escalated this situation by being a dick. He could have just kept things civil, taken the ticket, and gotten on his way.

I’m a white, 40 year old Republican small business owner, and I have no problem saying this to people like you who “Back the Badge”…
This isn’t 1950s Mayberry. Cops don’t just DESERVE your respect. They have to earn it. And the easiest way to earn it is their attitude when they have interactions with the people they work for.
The cop had his license. He could have just went to write the ticket and moved on with his day. Instead he had to demonstrate his authority. That’s a bad cop. And then the other cop jumps in to further escalate instead of calming both parties down. Ego should never be a part of the job they are doing.

The problem is Tyreke's tinted windows. Thats why most places a window tint like that is illegal. Cops can't see what you're doing when you roll up your windows. They get antsy and nervous and will start acting the way you see in this video. If you want to avoid situations like this, don't tint your windows and don't roll them up if they're tinted. Its always very simple, yet seems too damn hard for so many people.

No amount of white knighting you do here is going to save those cops.
They are the ones in authority here so they have to keep their cool and not lose their shite because a civilian is being mouthy.
The fact they charged him wirh resistance makes them look even stupider as if their cameras would show otherwise.

If that were some golfer the same people would telling us all about abuse of power.

Then I can respond with the fact that they signed up to do that job. And the mere belief that they are under threat at all times without proof or cause is NOT justification for abusing the people who pay your salaries.

When/if the democrats take power and decide that you WILL comply with their ideas, it’s going to be these same cops MAKING you comply.
