What's the verdict on this game? Last team with the ball wins? I think Harrell and McCoy are gonna put on a show, but Texas is just overall a more complete team imo. I've got the Horns winning this one by 10 points.

Oklahoma State and Texas Tech are runts, each in a clever disguise. I may have grandchildren by the time somebody other than Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma win the Big XII South.

You need to run into oncoming traffic for lumping A&M in with Texas and OU.

who knows, crabtree could just go apeshit in this game. Texas Tech is capable of having games like that... see 2007 TT/OU game.

Dear Papa, the verdict doesn't come until the game is over. The speculation is all we have now. IMO, Texas wins. Both of these teams have great offenses, but Texas has something Tech doesn't: defense. I have seen Tech get a late start in several games that ended up blow outs. Problem for the Red Raiders this week is that a slow start could leave them way down at the half. I have a lot of respect for Harrell and Crabtree. They are awesome to watch. But if the Longhorns keep them out of the endzone early, Tech may not be able to get the ball enough to come back. The reason is that Texas has shown the ability to sustain long drives. If you can't get Colt off the field, you can't get Graham on the field. This is just my speculation, but it may be a long day for the Red Raider Nation.

Hey cumbucket, did you ever consider that this gauntlet that Texas has run may be wearing them down?

ETA: I think Texas wins by 2 scores.

yeah I know what you mean about TT being lethargic out the gates. But this time around they better be alert for Brian Orakpo coming off the edge straight for Harrell.

He's going to be stunting the entire time against those huge splits TT blocks with, which mean Orakpo coming straight up the middle at Harrell. We saw what happened with similar blocking scheme agianst Mizzou

From what I've seen, I'd take Texas Tech over Oklahoma State, and OSU played Texas tough. Tech's offensive line is going to give UT trouble getting pressure on Graham Harrell, and time is one thing you do not want him to have. He and Crabtree are going to be punching holes in the zone all day, and McCoy is going to have to keep up. However, I still think Texas has enough firepower to pull this one out if they don't blow too many coverages.

UT - 42
TTU - 38

I think I only meant to lump them together because they all have something in common that TT/OSU/Bay do not.
