Kaare got it right last time (minus the roof stuff) and he is spot on this time.

RR is about locked up at this point also. Expect a number between 1.8-2.2 million.

This is truly amazing.

Plus id imagine living across from Tulane, next to big Tulane supporters and working for the only station covering the wave makes anything he says about Tulane athletics pretty legit

sounds like a great example of confirmation bias

lol, i would not say that exactly - he tends to just run off at the mouth at times but in this case he is pretty accurate on just about all accounts.

Good.

Tulane does not want to be there anyways and when they win Benson will get SMG to get them a better deal there to host a major game per year.

If they build an on campus stadium the only game they should ever consider playing in the Dome is against LSU. Nobody else will bring enough fans that they'll need more than 30K seats.

Kaare lives in the CBD in the lone house that stands in all the parking lots near Girod and Loyola. The place is covered in WIST shite last I checked and he tailgates in front of it for Saints games, so he's not exactly hiding it.

That being said, he's right. He finds out a lot of stuff that he doesn't put on the air but tells his friends and he's usually right. If he ran with something big on the air, I'd assume this is all but done.

An OCS is a good thing for their program. Student attendance will be a lot better, especially if they make gameday an event. And even with the small crowds, it'll look a lot better in a little stadium than in the Dome.

If RR does not end up at Tulane at this point it means something went terribly wrong at the last minute.

I think the highest paid coaches in CUSA are Kevin Sumlin, June Jones, O'Leary and I would have to say that he is worth that much money if not more.

One of my Tulane friends said they would make Rich Rod the highest paid Non AQ coach.. I think June Jones is right now.

If Tulane is willing to pay a coach "between 1.8-2.2 million," I would buy season tickets (and show up).

Yeah, I think Jones makes about 2 mil and I've heard Tulane is willing to spend as much.
