The environment is different. Our lack of a home crowd winds up causing both teams to play very flat. Most of the FCS teams that give the big kids a challenge have this tendency to "play up" under the bright lights.
We've had scary FCS teams come into a Tulane home game and turn up very fricking flat.

Nicholls line play is very good. I think the Bussey pick up will pay off huge for them. Fourcade is a playmaker, but not a great passer.

I can’t imagine Nicholls will be flat, this is a huge opportunity for their program. Nicholls is different than the FCS teams Tulane has played before because they actually are good up front.

I know Nicholls upped his money significantly in the offseason, maybe even close to doubled it. However, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a bigger job, especially if Nicholls makes another run this year.

Tulane's next coach if they fire the new guy if he doesn't turn it around soon. Then the return of Andy Cannizaro back to baseball after scandal has cooled and gone away in returning to his alma mater like he should have from the start after in over his head baseball coach Jewett is dismissed.

I think Tulane takes it but as importantly they need to work on their schemes and execution. They play a vulnerable Ohio State team week 4 who gave up some big plays to a bad Oregon state team.
If they can nail down some consistency going into Columbus they'll have a real shot to make it a game
